Carbon brush is a device which conducts current between stationary wires and moving parts, most commonly in a rotating shaft. Typical applications include electric motors, alternators and electric generators. The holder is used to hold the carbon brush to let it perform its operation. These are available for AC or DC or both applications.

The Brush Holders are available in various materials such as Brass, Gun Metal, Phosphor Bronze, Sheet Metal etc. as required.
